Affiliate disclosure
Some links and tour listings on this site go to GetYourGuide through its affiliate program. If you book a tour or activity after clicking one of them, we may earn a small commission. The price you pay is the same as it would be if you went to GetYourGuide directly.
Hotel links
Some pages link to hotels, either to the hotel’s own website or to Booking.com and similar booking sites. On those pages the site may use Stay22, a service that turns a link to one of its booking partners, such as Booking.com, into an affiliate link when you click it. If you then book a stay with that partner, we may earn a commission, and you pay the same price as you would going to the booking site directly. Stay22 does this through a script that loads on those pages; our privacy policy explains what that means for you.
These commissions are how this site pays for itself. Nobody pays us to be featured, and no operator or hotel has been added to a page because they asked.
What we do and do not do
We are not GetYourGuide or Stay22, and this site is not part of, endorsed by, or an official website of either. We do not run any of the tours listed here. We are also not connected to Yamanakako Village, the Yamanakako Tourist Association, Yamanashi Prefecture, Fujikyu, or any operator of the buses, boats, baths and parks we write about.
Bookings, payment, availability, cancellations and refunds are handled by GetYourGuide and the supplier running the activity. If something goes wrong with a booking, they are who you need, not us, and their terms apply. The same goes for hotel bookings: the hotel or the booking site you book on handles them.
About the prices and ratings shown
Prices, ratings and review counts in tour listings on this site were taken from GetYourGuide in October 2026, with prices in US dollars. All of them move. Prices change with season and demand, ratings shift as reviews come in, and activities are sometimes withdrawn.
Treat the figures here as a rough guide. The live number on GetYourGuide when you book is the real one.
Which tours we list
We only say a tour visits Lake Yamanaka when its own listing says so, and we say how long it stops where the listing gives a time. Stops vary a lot: some Tokyo day trips spend an hour at the lake, others 20 minutes for photos. Some tours stop at the lake only on one of their routes or in one season, and we say so where that applies. Check the itinerary and what is included before you book.
Our opinions are our own
We choose which activities to link to on the basis of whether they look useful to somebody visiting Lake Yamanaka and Mt Fuji. The commission does not change what we write.
